Hopefully, by now, you'll have a better idea what GBM graduate careers are all about. This section will tell you how to progress things further.
Think carefully. Study the information, both here and online. Take your time to make an informed decision.
Applying to become a graduate or intern is an investment on both sides. We want to make sure that you share our aims and ambitions. And equally, you need to make sure that we are the right people to help you realise your potential.
It is important that you think carefully about which programme would best suit your skill set and interests.
Once you have decided on which programme is right for you, and are ready to apply, the first thing you need to do is to visit https://www.rbsgraduates.co.uk/ and complete a short application form. Please provide us with your personal details, academic achievements and employment history.
We will ask you why you think it is the right time for you to join RBS, why it is the right place for you and what strengths you have that make you the right person. We may also ask you to upload your CV and academic transcript.
The next stage of the selection process varies depending on which programme you've applied for, but follows a broadly similar format of psychometric tests, structured competency and technical interviews with our business representatives, and assessment centres - where you'll take part in a variety of individual case studies and group exercises.
Your results and contributions are assessed individually - we want to find out how you work, and whether we are a good match for each other. We'll make it clear what's expected of you at every stage and, in between, get back to you as quickly as we can. Show us what you're capable of and we will do everything we can to help you along the way.
